Week 1 Review:

What does Act Like Men mean?

Don’t act like a woman – Genesis 1:27 (Genesis 2:18)

Don’t act like an animal – 1 Corinthians 16:13-14

Don’t act like a boy (child) – 1 Corinthians 13:11

Don’t act like a superhero – Deuteronomy 4:32-40

Week 2 Review

we looked at “Being Watchful”, Ezekial 33:1-6 & Numbers 32:23.

The Godly man, the biblical man, is a man who is paying Attention.

Too many men are Fiddling and Fixating

Men are to be watching for their Families

It all starts with watching Yourself

You can’t teach what you don’t Know. You can’t lead where you don’t Go

The guy you’re in charge of is You

Week 3: Stand Firm

Matt Chandler - 'Stand Firm in the Faith' https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u38BnXXUpMU

Week 3, we looked at “Stand Firm, in the faith”, Jude 1-24; Ephesians 6:10-11; & 2 Timothy 4:7.

The word contend has to do with Boxing

When Jude says, “Contend for the faith,” he’s not talking about your trust in God (Jude 3). He is talking about the Body of Truth that makes up Christianity.

“Stand Firm in the Faith” is talking about the responsibility we have to Contend for the faith.

Like boxers, men of God need to keep their Guard Up

Standing firm means: to stand together in Love, to insist on the best from one another, to hold up the standard of the Word of God and the reputation of Christ.
